I am calling her done. I need to fix one gun barrel that got knocked off, but otherwise she is all set. The plane itself is probably imaginary, as I based it on a scheme in an Eduard kit except I changed the tail number. I liked the red tail as a pop of color.

Kit is OOB except for some EZ-Line used for the landing gear cables. Paint is Tamiya for the major areas and exterior, and Vallejo for the interior (IP, mostly). Coated in Future and then hit with some Dullcote to take down the shine. Decals were beaten into submission by Tamiya decal set. Kit was pretty easy but I seemed to have some minor cowling issues no one else seems to have mentioned.

Okay, what are we doing next?

Thanks for the extension Michael!! Has been a very strange (and long) 90 days!!

Anyway, progress has been made on my Arma 1/72 PZL P.11c:

Their "expert" PE set for the cockpit. Yup, there are 12 pieces there as well as a few of my own. Why they didn't do PE rudder pedals is a little beyond me....but:

Replaced plastic barrels w/stainless steel tubing with their PE parts:

The front office just prior to closing the fuselage:

.....AND....here it be just a an hour or so ago:

Getting there! Major construction is about over....can't wait to start airbrushing. Used this kit to try a few new techniques. It's a very nice kit but nowhere near anything "shake n bake". Due to it being so small (1/72) it will try your patience and experience in a couple areas but it builds up nice.

Hi all!

Lagging behind, though my cockpit and engine are done! Gonna try a new technique for me, using superglue to close the fuselage up. Wish me luck! Though tried it on the cowling and it turned out ok.

Shell: Nice work on this plane. It looks very fine. I like the fiddly wiring in the main wheel well very much. Congrats .

Chaz: Wow the PZL is really nicely detailed!

John: I never tried to glue the fuselage with super glue. Is it better for grinding?

FirstSergeant: Great looking bird. Congratulation!

great work everyone.
i've made some progress on my stormovik build. did some pre shading and tried something new for me, spyaying black and white blotches before the color coat. seen it done here and i liked the effect. you can see it a little on the photo of the underside. even though i applied the blotches heavier than on the top side i got a little over zealous spraying the blue underside and covered up some of the effect.

i will be doing a black/green topside.can someone recommend a black to use? i plan on using flat black lightened with some white. i was thinking about nato black too but it is closer to black-green to me and i read that russian aircraft didn't use this shade.
