Hi Builders,

I started this one a few months ago, well... actually longer... it's been a while. Anyway, I posted an intermediate photo in the Pre-flight section. At long last, I'm calling this one done. It's an Italeri Bf-110 G4/R3 but I wanted to back-date it to a C-model. I saw Battle of Britain on one of the movie channels and caught the bug...

The pilot is a 20mm AB figures German officer. Probably SS but at this scale I figured, as long as he looks the part...

Looks great, Joe. I'm getting ready to start the Italeri P-40E and want to ask how did the build go? Many surprises or misfits?

Thanks Dan,

I got the kit from a friend already opened, so it was missing a few pieces for the G4/R3 variant... one or two antennae. I also sanded out and re-scribed the raised panel lines, but that was only because it's a skill I'm trying to improve.

Beyond that, it went together pretty easy. I had some minor fit issues on the engine nacelles, but was able to correct the gaps with filler. Overall, a decent model IMHO.
