Hi

You can, but keep in mind that for such project, you need a lot of documents to crosscheck.

The white wheel, as I received it :

and the same after a dark wash with peyne grey pigments

i'm not completely happy with the sharpness of the part, and will look to get it better

I'm watching this with great interest Norbert. Will you try a different 3d printer to get higher 'resolution' on the parts? I believe they clean up OK, but you'd want it pretty smooth when you come to the main body parts.

Do you intend to sell the end product once you have prototyped it?

Hi Perry
Thank you for watching. Yes, I try a different supplier, I think I will get a new wheel temorrow to compare. If OK, I will try a section of fuselage.

Selling is an other question. As printed parts, it will be very expensive. To put it in a steel mold, the marquet may be very small, too big piece.

Perhaps in 1/48

Hello Norbert,

that´s a very impressive project you are working on. In 1:32 the Mi-6 will be huge.

If I may ask: are you working professionally with 3D CAD/CAM?

Regards,

Sebastian

Hi

I printed a part of the fuselage to check if the pannel line are OK in sharpness

And yes, it will be big...

The part is 1 mm thick, details look good so far

And pannel lines seems also OK

Now to be more sure, I have to prime it

Very nice. That looks great. I didn't realize you were going to make an actual model out of it. Very cool. How about a 1/35 H-34 next?

this is amazing!

do you intend making a business out of this?

How much will such chopper cost in printing?

You are makign this 1/35 but I guss that you can as well print in 1/48, or any scale for that matter?

Hi
The walls are 1mm thick. If I reduce the scale, I reduce the wall...
So it can't be done without some preliminary work.
So to say, the outside fuselage will probably cost around 500 euros. The inside probably the same, plus the rotors...

I late you calculate
