I have done the dirty deed and got myself an airbrush & conpressor and would now like to know what everyone thinks is the best matt & satin varnish out there.
Also does it make a difference if the base paint is enamel or acyrlic and does the future floor polish make selection important as well.

This is one where everyone has their own preference i suppose. My preference is definately Gunze flat and satin acrylics. But then i prefer Gunze and Tamiya for all paints.

It should never matter what the base coat is as long as it's cured fully.

I use future (one or two coats before applying the decals and one or two coats after applying the decals. But I do add some 20% isopropylalcohol to the future (makes it more fluid).

When I want a matt coat I add some gunze flat base to my last coat of future.

I do let dry a long time (a week) in between coats
