Introduction

It is really good to have the commission of reviewing high quality kits. And Reality in Scale is a company that follows the direction of quality definitely .

Here we will take a look at the kit named Chapel Section with code 35070.

The kit

This kit was packed in a hard cartoon strong box, with a big sticker outside picturing the parts of the kit. All parts were securely wrapped in air bubble sheets , and they came pretty unharmed.

Opening the box , besides the 3 parts of the kit , I also found a small plastic transparent plastic sheet as interpretation of stained glass and a small decoration religious statuesque.

Once again, I was happy, to see these small details in a scenery kit, as most companies do not care to include something like this .

Theme

The kit as, was told already represents a nice corner section of a chapel .

Quality and Detail

The kit comes in a grey resin material that is casted definitely close to perfect ! The pieces are entirely flawless, and poses Reality in Scale among the top companies of this category.

I searched the pieces closely and everything was a pleasure. The level of sculpting is professional and pretty clean and well defined ! The sculpting of the small stones at the base of one wall shows the level of attention and makes the buyer happy from minute one.

Painting

A chapel could take different color schemes and levels of weathering, so you must think and homogenize it with the era, and story of your vignette.

Conclusion Final Verdict

Beautiful work in this new release , good size and nice detail level from Reality in Scale. Kits like these definitely make the modeler appreciated their attention to detail and perfection. The kit is highly detailed and perfectly sculpted . I cannot ask for more .

FROM: KIKLADHES, GREECE / Ελλάδα

I started modelling 27 years ago with some 1/72 planes and military vehicles. Soon the diorama bug got into me and with Sheperd Paynes books I dug in. I loved to build dioramas and military vehicles till the Vietnam Era. I don't like modern stuff so much. 4 years ago I had a crush on figure painti...
