Introduction
Matho Models has created this 1/35 modern accessory set Cardboard Boxes - post & courier services, set 35074.

This card set contains a total of 34 boxes with five (5) different designs.

Cardboard Boxes - Post & Courier Services
Matho Models packs two sheets of mailing cartons in each package. The paper is slightly thick and slick, and easy to cut and bend.

Each box is printed with a brown cardboard texture, so the boxes can be displayed opened as well.

Printing
Five shipping companies are printed:
    DHL
    FedEx
    TNT Express
United States Postal Service Priority Mail
    UPS

Printing is very sharp. The printing is legible.

The cardboard color interior allows the modeler to assemble boxes as open.

Assembly
While I did not assemble any of these models, one assembles them just like the soda cartons I built up (see Click here for additional images for this review, below).

To assemble the boxes, carefully cut them from the sheet. Very fine subtle lines show where to fold the boxes and cut the side flaps. Use a sharp blade and a metal straightedge. If the modeler makes a slight mistake in cutting or folding, the box may be slightly out of square. Then you will fold the sides inward, then the segments are folded over. Finally, glue the end tab into the box. I used common white glue.

Conclusion
Matho Models has created another excellent 1/35 set of modern express and courier parcel boxes and cartons.

Cardboard Boxes - post & courier services are sharply printed. They are easy to build up.

I have no meaningful complaint about this set and recommend it.

I'm a professional pilot with a degree in art. My first model was an AMT semi dump truck. Then Monogram's Lunar Lander right after the lunar landing. Next, Revell's 1/32 Bf-109G...cried havoc and released the dogs of modeling! My interests--if built before 1900, or after 1955, then I proba...

These look really nice but unfortunately they are from a time period & subject that I can't see myself ever building.
