Peter, There was more than one style of deflector. See the recent book by myself and Fernando Estanislau, 'Messerschmitt Bf 110 C, D, and E, An Illustrated Study', page 106 for the variations. Hope this helps. John Vasco   READ

The Chally's were shipped over and had the applique armour fitted in Kuwait prior to deployment. They were then fitted with the bar armour to the rear of the hull and turret in Iraq. It was the same for the warriors.   READ
